Welcome to Information Management

CPFM (Campus Planning and Facilities Management) creates, supports, and maintains The University of Texas at Austin's physical environment. The Information Management Team facilitates CPFM’s efforts by managing and administering various information systems, including work management, project management, and space information management.

Our applications and systems include FAMIS, WORQS, WORQSpace, MyEclipse, Cognos, ArcGIS, AutoCAD Map, FAMIS CAD, Pictometry, Meridian Document Management, Pervasive Data Profiler, and related interfaces. Information Management's role in relation to these systems is to:

  • Provide internal and external user support
  • Administer system configurations and role authorizations
  • Develop, maintain, and publish documentation
  • Facilitate process improvement
  • Provide training and training support for internal and external users
  • Ensure integrity and improve accuracy of data and sources
  • Manage enhancement and implementation projects
  • Provide support for CPFM data analysis
  • Develop and maintain information products including reports, maps, business intelligence tools, geospatial information system (GIS) tools, graphic reports
