Arrow Online Courses

These courses may require a textbook and continuous access to the World Wide Web. The courses are menu driven, user friendly, and easy to navigate. For more information, please contact us.

Newest course offerings:

Arrow ASKME® Multimedia Courses

ASKME® (Acquire and Self-Regulate Knowledge in a Multimedia Environment) online courses are textbook free*. Instruction is provided though animated tutorials. The online format provides students with interactive exercises, electronic simulations, unlimited practice, virtual manipulatives and concrete models. Each course unit contains a cohesive community problem that provides real-world context and graded assignments that students submit electronically. For more information, please contact us.

*Science courses require the purchase of a lab kit.

Arrow CD-Based Courses

For CD-based courses, students need the course textbook/materials, Internet and computer access, and the course CD-ROM. The CD-ROM contains a great deal of the course media content, and it is the focal point of the student’s course activities. Students only go online (to the Internet) to submit assignments, participate in World Wide Web learning activities and to communicate with their instructors. This blended technology approach minimizes the need for high-speed Internet connectivity, while still offering a robust learning environment. For more information, please contact us.

Special notes to students focused on graduating in Texas:

  • All courses are aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
  • Students are well prepared for success on the TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) test, which is required for graduation in the State of Texas
  • Credit earned in our courses may be applied toward high school graduation from Texas high schools

Arrow Policy Updates

  • Effective May 1, 2009, for all current and future enrollments, course grades will be calculated based on the following formula: graded assignments 75%; final exam 25%.
  • Please note that even though course descriptions and some course materials may not reflect this new grading calculation policy, the new policy is in effect for all courses.
