Online Courses in Spanish

LUCHA™ offers high school courses in Spanish to provide secondary Spanish speaking English language learners access to rigorous content in their first language while transitioning into English.

  • The courses are from a Mexican provider of preparatory education and are aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
  • Schools can use these courses to teach subject content to students in their native language while teachers assist them in making the transition to English using ESL instructional methodologies.
  • The courses can be used to help students transition in the middle of the semester, recover credits, or advance.
