WHO WE ARE
We owe our creation to the success of our Osher Lifelong Learning Institute predecessors, UT LAMP™, UT QUEST™ and UT SAGE™. Because those programs could not accommodate a constantly growing list of several hundred applicants seeking membership, the UT Osher Lifelong Learning Institute created UT FORUM™ in 2005 to respond to this overflow from the existing programs.
We welcome anyone with the leisure time to enjoy learning from the many remarkable people in our community with expertise to share. Our members come from widely diverse vocations and bring with them a vast array of interests.
WHAT WE DO
Each Friday during three six-week periods in the fall, winter and spring, UT FORUM™ members participate in morning seminars and general session afternoon lectures presented at the Joe C. Thompson Conference Center. The seminars are arranged to allow a member to select from three different programs for each of the two morning sessions.
At the conclusion of each six-week period, members gather at a casual social event to develop new friendships and renew existing ones.
