UT NOVA™ SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
AA volunteer committee of UT NOVA™ members plans and organizes several events during the year designed to provide a relaxed get-together where members can become better acquainted.
END-OF-SESSION DINNERS
At the conclusion of each six-week session, members gather for a social event generally at a local restaurant to enjoy an informal evening of socializing and to honor our very generous volunteer Seminar Directors for the current session.
UT THOMPSON CONFERENCE CENTER SOCIALIZING
One of the most popular socializing opportunities is having lunch together downstairs at the Thompson Center cafeteria where members compare notes on the mornings seminars or have lunch with the afternoon’s lecture presenter. Some members come early in the morning to beat the traffic and spend a few minutes before the first seminar having breakfast or a cup of coffee together before the day’s activities begin.
