Continuing and Innovative Education of The University of Texas at Austin is pleased to offer its Strategic Leadership Certificate in collaboration with Universidad de Monterrey, Educación Continua en Nuevo León, México.

Classes will be held at the Universidad de Monterrey in Nuevo León, México.

This original program is designed for executives and upper-level managers in leadership positions. Topics include strategic leadership and management, project management, and talent management.

Classes will be offered in three module sessions that will be held in the spring of 2011.

Program Objective

The Strategic Leadership Certificate is designed for senior business professionals. It focuses on assessing and improving leadership skills, developing and deploying organizational strategies, project management methodology for decision-making stakeholders, and talent management strategies to build a sustainable, strengths-based organization that engages staff.

Program Format and Meeting Times

The certificate format consists of three modules delivered in sessions of 20 hours each. Classes meet:

  • Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
