Administrative Professional with Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certificate Program

PDC has developed a certificate program that is designed to foster and track professional growth. The role of today’s administrative professional has evolved to that of a technologically savvy multi-tasker who supports teams and manages projects. The willingness to be flexible and open to learning new competencies is critical to staying current with the role as it continues to evolve.

This blended program includes instructor led and online self paced courses that will provide students the skills to be successful in a variety of different office environments.

This Administrative Professional with Microsoft Office Specialist 2007 (MOS) Training will teach you the skills needed to become a successful administrative professional using the Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 suite of programs. You’ll receive training on the Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

This program will benefit those who wish to work as an Administrative Professional and those already working in the field looking to improve their knowledge and skills.

Certificate Requirements, Scheduling, and Pricing

To achieve the Administrative Professionals with MOS Certificate Program:

  1. Complete the online Microsoft Office Suite 2007. This course is required and is considered one course. Microsoft 2010 available upon request.
  2. Students must complete six courses.
    • Each instructor led course is one or two day (8:30a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
    • The online course is self paced. Students have one year to complete the online course from the date enrolled. No extensions can be provided after one year.
  3. Receive a $175 discount when you pay for the full certificate program upfront. In addition to registering upfront students will receive free access to hundreds of online e-books at Books 24x7.

  • Microsoft Office Specialist comes with a Test Prep for each area to help test your knowledge on the skills and competencies being measured by the vendor certification exam. The Test Prep can be taken in either Study or Certification mode.
