Clear and Confident Speech: Speech and Diction for Professionals
Course Details
This one-day workshop addresses a broad range of vocal needs for professionals who require immediate and lasting improvement in the area of speech communication. In this workshop, participants will cover a variety of different speech issues that crop up regularly in business and corporate environments. Some of these issues include:
- speaking too softly or with a “thin” voice — lack of authority
- mumbling — words get lost or cannot be understood
- talking too fast — often never pausing between thoughts
- speaking with a strong accent — speech is difficult to understand
- speaking in monotone — lack of expressiveness
- loss of speech confidence — sometimes due to nerves or “stage fright”
- and others…
