The Professional Development Center is working with the Texas Workforce Commission to provide training dollars to people who are currently unemployed.
In order to receive benefits you must:
- have been terminated, laid-off, or received notice of layoff from employment without fault
- be eligible for unemployment insurance
- attend an orientation at a Workforce Solutions location
- complete paperwork at your designated location

Rural Capital Area (counties surrounding Travis County)
If you live in one of the surrounding counties, please visit the Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area Web site. We are currently approved for the following courses in all the surrounding counties (Rural Capital Area).
