:: Pamela Christian, Ph.D.

Pamela Christian, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Voice and Speech for Performance at The University of Texas at Austin. She is also director of Clarity of Speech International, a company that provides resources and training programs for ESL speakers. Dr. Christian is committed to helping individuals achieve excellence in the area of speech communication and public presentation. She works regularly with groups and individuals in major corporations, and centers her work on professional speaking skills across cultures. Pamela has provided voice/speech training for professionals in the U.S., South Africa, the U.K., South Korea, and the Russian Federation, where she was a Fulbright Scholar in 2004. She enjoys working with all types of individuals, regardless of training level or experience.

Dr. Christian received her Ph.D. in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale; her MFA in Acting/Performance from The University of Texas at Austin; and her BA in English from Princeton University.
