Metrics for Human Resources

Course Details

Human Resources Certification Institute logo In order to demonstrate its value, Human Resources must utilize performance metrics. However, these metrics must be aligned with the business strategy, mission, and objectives of the organization.

Workshop participants will discuss why metrics are an essential component of human resources. The need for HR professionals to speak the “language” of business; to use effectiveness and efficiency to manage the HR function like a business; and to use standard business tools to measure and report HR’s performance in the organization will also be discussed.

Using performance metrics effectively can serve not only as an early indicator of problems, unnecessary costs, and ineffective activities/programs in the organization, but can also better position HR as a business partner and leader.

HRCI Recertification of 6.5 hours and counts toward strategic credit hours.
