The Petroleum Extension Service (PETEX™), a unit of the Division of Continuing and Innovative Education at The University of Texas at Austin, has been providing training courses and content to oil and gas industry participants for decades. Headquartered at the University’s J.J. Pickle Research Campus in North Austin, PETEX develops, produces, and delivers technical and nontechnical training courses, publications, and e-product solutions for employees in various sectors of the petroleum industry.
PETEX conducts Instructor-led courses at:

• The PETEX Learning and Assessment Center - Odessa at The University of Texas-Permian Basin
