Production Technology - First Week Only

Enrollment Instructions

Covers surface and subsurface production equipment and operations. Participants may complete the course by attending two split sessions (Week 1: Subsurface and Week 2: Surface Operation and Facilities). Field trips support classroom discussion. Participants receive handouts and the following PETEX books if enrolled in both weeks:

Oil and Gas Production Series (12 books)

Those enrolled for only one week will receive the PETEX manuals that are appropriate for that week.

Length: 5 days

Course Content

Participants receive instruction in:

• Reservoir fundamentals
• Natural drive mechanisms
• Artificial list mechanisms
• Enhanced recovery
• Wellhead equipment
• Offshore production–special considerations

Recommended For

Technicians, foremen, production operators, and workover personnel.
