Production Technology

Covers surface and subsurface production equipment and operations. Participants may complete the course by attending two split sessions (Week 1: Subsurface and Week 2: Surface Operation and Facilities). Field trips support classroom discussion. Participants receive handouts and the following PETEX books if enrolled in both weeks:
Oil and Gas Production Series(12 books)
Those enrolled for only one week will receive the PETEX manuals that are appropriate for that week.

- Artificial list mechanisms
- Enhanced recovery
- Wellhead equipment
- Offshore production–special considerations
2nd Week: Surface
- Production operations practices
- Separation
- Treating liquids
- Treating gas
- Measuring liquids and gases
- Produced water management and disposal
- Lease automation and emergency shutdown
- Oil and gas corrosion
