System Requirements and Troubleshooting

For e-Books:

  • Adobe Reader or Acrobat 8 or higher is required. Click here to download the latest version.


    • For e-Learning solutions and Video On Demand:

    • Make sure you have Adobe Reader or Acrobat installed.
    • Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. Click here to download the latest version.

    • Web Browser Requirements (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.):
      •          - Up to date with all the latest available updates.
               - Popups should not be blocked.
               - Cookies should be allowed.
               - JavaScript should be enabled. (Default for most web browsers)

    • Occasionally, video streams are blocked by institutional network firewalls. How can you tell if you need modifications to your firewall? We created a streaming version of our preview which allows you to test your connection. If you can view this video sample, you can view all of PETEX Videos On Demand.

    If you have verified the system requirements above and are still unable to view our demo, your network administrator may need to make the following modifications to your firewall:

    • Allow data over UDP on ports 443 and 1935
