:: New! PETEX Online Skills Analysis Tool

Do you need help sharpening your workforce’s skills to maximize safety and performance? PETEX has an easy answer with a unique e-tool based on the skills and competencies Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) matrix established by the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). The new PETEX Skills Analysis Tool (SAT) lets users easily self-assess skills and competencies needed for drilling-sector jobs by identifying training gaps and recommending possible solutions.

  • Identifies gaps in necessary job skills and recommends relevant, readily available training solutions.

  • Produces a map of training gaps that supervisors can review, adjust, and approve.

  • Suggests the appropriate solutions—publications, e-books, classroom training, e-learning, training videos, webinars, and online assessments— to close identified knowledge gaps.

Recommendations include PETEX solutions supplemented by options provided by PETEX training partners that specialize in areas outside PETEX’s scope.
