Originally a military camp built in 1849, Fort Worth became a stop for cattle drivers along the famous Chisholm Trail. Branded with the moniker “Cowtown” and the motto “Where the West Begins,” Fort Worth has grown beyond its dusty cowboy roots to now boast a vibrant arts scene and world-famous country-western music venues.
