UTCPE honors outstanding clients at annual award ceremony
CIE sponsors the UT Center for Performance Excellence (UTCPE), a program that helps business, education, military, healthcare and non-profit organizations achieve and sustain operational excellence. UTCPE helps these organizations examine their current processes, find any gaps in efficiency and achieve greater performance results. On November 14, 2011, UTCPE held its annual award ceremony to honor its clients whose hard work and perseverance resulted in the most improved organizational and operational performance.
“These clients have shown that their organizations are committed to improving and truly achieving all that they can achieve,” states Tony Perez, program coordinator for UTCPE. “I am very proud of the progress these organizations have made. They have demonstrated a true commitment to becoming as successful and strong as possible, not only for the continued success of the overall organization, but also for the individual success of their staff members.”
UTCPE offers on-site consulting, self-assessment and feedback that focuses on such areas as leadership, strategic planning, customers, and managing people and processes. UTCPE consults with a variety of clients, including Southwest Airlines’ Dallas Flight Operations, the Round Rock Independent School District, and the Texas Adjunct General’s Communication Department at Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas.
Applicants to the UTCPE annual awards have the opportunity to earn awards within three levels that reflect their organizations’ commitment, progress, merit and achievement. The 2011 award winners are as follows:
