All science courses, except Pre-AP Middle School Science, will take place at the Welch Building. Please park in Lot 40, located on the corner of Dean Keaton and Red River, and keep in mind to arrive 10-15 minutes early to give yourself time to walk to the class location or you may take the 40 Acres Shuttle. If participants would like to pay to park on campus the San Antonio and San Jacinto Garages are both near Welch Hall. Classroom numbers will be confirmed in the building when you arrive.
Institutes designated for new teachers are for those who have never taught Pre-AP* or AP or who have less than two years experience teaching the Pre-AP or AP curriculum in the specific subject. Institutes designated for experienced teachers are for those who have two or more years experience teaching Pre-AP or AP in that particular subject.
Institutes which are not designated as new or experienced are general workshops open to both new and experienced teachers.
