The course will be a mix of pedagogy and content with an emphasis on the recent changes to the AP World History exam. Participants will receive instruction on essay writing and document analysis that is geared for the AP exam. Numerous primary source documents will be provided, as well as practice exams, lessons, power points, and sample text books.
Participants should bring the following:
- lap top or 16 gig flash drive
- a favorite lesson

Christine Curtright Bond currently teaches Advanced Placement U. S. and World History at Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma. She has been a College Board consultant since 2003; she has been a Reader for the AP U.S. History exam and will read for the AP World History exam in 2011. She completed her master’s degree in 2002 and her National Board Certification in 2008.
