Part 48 Annual Refresher Training is designed for individuals that are in between jobs and wish to keep their MSHA training up to date, or individual trainers that seek a yearly refresher training for themselves.

 

Part 48 New Miner Training

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The public Part 48 New Miner Training is for newly employed inexperienced miners, individual contractors needing to conduct work at a mine site, or for small mines that prefer to send their new hires to the public course rather than conduct a small onsite class.

 

Medic First Aid/CPR Certification (Adult) - English

Medic First Aid BasicPlus is a combined adult first aid, CPR and AED training program. This program helps employers meet OSHA, MSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees on how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.

 

Associate Safety Professional Exam Prep
January 27-29, 2015

Professional credentialing is essential for career advancement.  Achieving certification demonstrates a higher level of professionalism recognized by employers and peers.  This course is designed to prepare individuals for the Comprehensive Examination leading to certification as an Associate Safety Professional (ASP).  The workshop covers the four areas of the exam: engineering, management, information management and communications and professional conduct and ethics.  Your preparation will include lectures, sample exam problems and discussions on a variety of subjects to prepare you for the exam.
