:: New Miner Training

New Miner Training can be conducted for Part 46 and Part 48 operations or contractors in English or Spanish. The training is targeted for your newly employed inexperienced miners and is a 24 hour course (as required by HSTC). The New Miner Training course is instructed by Health and Safety Training Center (HSTC) approved instructors and all course material meets the standards set forth by HSTC.  Total course length is 24 hours, and is organized into three days. The training course consists of twenty (20) hours of New Miner Training topics and a four (4) hour First Aid/CPR course.

To request onsite training, please visit our Request Onsite Training page. Select the type of MSHA operation you are classified as (Part 46 or 48) and fill out the request form completely.  This form will be submitted directly to our program and we will be in contact soon after to confirm your request.
