Mine Accident Investigation Techniques

This course is directed towards safety directors, managers, foremen, union safety committee persons, or mining industry (metal/nonmetal or coal) individuals involved in accident investigation. Course content reviews basic guidelines, procedures, and techniques for the preparation and handling of investigations of accidents and other incidents involving health and safety in the mining industry. Classroom activities and discussions cover reasons for accident investigations, the investigative process, data collection, accident reconstruction, and proper analysis for corrective actions.
