MEDIC First Aid Instructor Development Course

The First Aid Instructor Development Course is ideal for individuals seeking authorization to be a First Aid/CPR instructor. The course will authorize students to be MEDIC First Aid instructors. They will be able to provide training in MEDIC First Aid/CPR, applications and use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), disease prevention from bloodborne pathogens, and infant/child rescue skills and AED applications. Students will learn lifesaving skills and practice CPR and First Aid procedures during the course. Upon completion of course, students will demonstrate knowledge and practical application of both life saving skills and competent instructor skills.

  • Adult training techniques
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Automated external defibrillators (AED)
  • Bloodborne pathogens
  • Infant and child AED/CPR skills
  • Controls

  • The First Aid Instructor Development Course will be one and half days in length and the fee per participant is $450 (includes instructional DVD). When registering for Instructor Training course and Medic FA Instructor Development Course together you will receive a $100 discount.
