Staff Development

The mission of the University of Texas-University Charter School District's Professional Development program is to improve and sustain the professional growth of district employees through planned learning opportunities that support the district's strategic goals.

Many professional development opportunities are available to new and experienced teachers, paraprofessionals, and instructional teams. Instructional teams consist of the principal, special education coordinator, and instructional coach. At UT-UCS, all educators participate in professional development activities which are designed to improve the quality of classroom instruction; enable individuals to grow professionally; and help educators meet personal goals.
