Looking for the specialized knowledge and resumé credibility that a certificate provides? University Extension offers two strong certificate programs.

Business Foundations Certificate

The Business Foundations Certificate (BFC) provides a foundation in business concepts and practice, with courses in accounting, finance, and management. It is designed for students who plan to enter the workforce or a graduate degree program upon completion of their undergraduate degree. It is also designed for people who already have a non-business undergraduate degree who wish to acquire certification in basic business knowledge. Elements of Computing Credit Certificate

The Elements of Computing Credit Certificate program was developed by UT Austin’s Department of Computer Sciences for UT non-CS majors. Through University Extension, this same program is available to non-UT students. The certificate offers basic and advanced computer science skills, with courses in programming, networking, software design, and more.
