Overview
The Elements of Computing Certificate Program was developed by UT Austin’s Department of Computer Sciences for UT non-CS majors. Through a partnership between this nationally acclaimed department and University Extension, the same program is available to non-UT students. The goal of the certificate is “to give students hands-on programming skills in a high-level language, currently Java, beginning with a basic course and continuing with different areas of specialization.”
