Assignment Grades

Your assignments will be graded using numerical averages, i.e., 85%. In addition to numerals, you instructor may assign two other types of grades.

  • Redo: Your instructor may assign an R to indicate that the grade on an assignment would be failing if you did not redo it in accordance with his or her feedback. The instructor is not obliged to give you this opportunity.
    • You can earn only two (2) redos per course.
    • You cannot apply for the final exam until you have resubmitted your redos and your instructor has graded them.
  • Incomplete: Your instructor may assign an I if an assignment is incomplete and can’t be evaluated. For example, the assignment may have required that you choose three of five essay choices, and you submitted only two.
    • Your instructor will provide no feedback on incomplete assignments.
    • You must complete and resubmit all previously incomplete assignments before you can request your final exam.
