:: American Government Course Offered Online
Be A Virtual Longhorn!
University Extension (UEX) at The University of Texas at Austin is offering an innovative, new online version of American Government (GOV 310L in UT’s catalog) this spring.
With UEX’s open enrollment, YOU can take this course from anywhere that you have an Internet connection. Each week’s course lectures will be recorded and posted online, allowing you to watch them “on demand” at your convenience.
Admission to the university is not required.
Class begins the week of January 13 and ends by May 6.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, January 29.
- Academic Credit: UEX courses, including this online section of GOV 310L, are open enrollment, provide transferable academic credit, and the grades appear on an official university transcript.
- Engagement: The course incorporates recently recorded lectures by tenured professors of the university’s Department of Government, Drs. Eric McDaniel and Daron Shaw that you can watch as many times as you need. In addition, you will have access to a wealth of other online resources for reinforcing the material covered and assessing your understanding.
- Flexibility: You don’t have to come to campus to attend class. Coursework can be done anywhere you have access to the internet, at a time that fits your schedule.
