UTLA Program Timeline for Non-UT-Austin Students

Fall 2008

Within 5 days of acceptance:

UTLA program fee non-refundable deposit due ($800). Pay online, via University Extension. You can pay by check, cash or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover only). Students must select courses.

Date	Deadline
May 15	Half of UTLA housing fee due. Pay online via the “What I Owe” feature of UT Direct. Payment can be made with Electronic Funds Transfer, E-check (no cost), MasterCard or Discover.
June 16	Balance of UTLA program fee due. Pay online via University Extension. You can pay by check, cash or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover only). Last day to request a refund of the first half of the housing fee.
July 8	Second half of UTLA housing fee due. Pay online via the “What I Owe” feature of UT Direct. Payment can be made with Electronic Funds Transfer, E-check (no cost), MasterCard or Discover. Balance of UTLA course fees due. Pay online, via University Extension. You can pay by check, cash or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover only). Last day to request a refund of the balance of the program fee, with written notification of withdrawal received by UTLA.
July 14	Last day to request a refund on the second half of the housing free payment, with written notification of withdrawal received by UTLA.
August 15	First day to check-in to the Oakwood Apartments in Los Angeles.
August 22	UTLA orientation.
August 25	UTLA classes begin.
September 12	Last day an undergraduate or graduate student may add a class. Last day to drop a class for possible refund. Submit a written request to UTLA.
September 24	Last day to drop a class without a possible academic penalty.
November 27-29	Thanksgiving holiday (no classes)
December 1	Last class day. Last day to drop a class without a possible academic penalty.
TBA	Exams
December 10	Last day to check out of Oakwood housing.
