UTLA Program Timeline for Non-UT-Austin Students
Spring 2009
Within 5 days of acceptance:
UTLA program fee non-refundable deposit due ($800). Pay online, via University Extension. You can pay by check, cash or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard, or Discover only). Students must select courses.

| October 7 | Half of UTLA housing fee due. Pay online via the “What I Owe” feature of UT Direct. Payment can be made with Electronic Funds Transfer, E-check (no cost), MasterCard or Discover. |
| November 4 | Balance of UTLA program fee due. Pay online via University Extension. Pay online, via University Extension. You can pay by check, cash or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover only). Last day to request a refund on the first half of the housing fee, with written notification of withdrawal received by UTLA. |
| December 2 | Second half of UTLA housing fee due. Pay online via the “What I Owe” feature of UT Direct. Payment can be made with Electronic Funds Transfer, E-check (no cost), MasterCard or Discover. UTLA course fees due. Pay online, via University Extension. You can pay by check, cash or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover only). Last day to request a refund on the balance of the program fee, with written notification of withdrawal received by UTLA. |
| December 8 | Last day to request a refund on the second half of the housing fee, with written notification of withdrawal received by UTLA. | January 9 | First day to check-in to the Oakwood Apartments in Los Angeles. |
| January 16 | UTLA orientation. |
| January 19 | UTLA classes begin. |
| February 4 | Last day an undergraduate or graduate student may add a class. Last day to drop a class for a possible refund. Submit a written request for a possible refund for a dropped class to UTLA. |
| February 16 | Last day to drop a class without a possible academic penalty. |
| March 16-21 | Spring break (no classes). |
| May 4 | Last class day. |
| TBA | Exams |
| May 13 | Last day to check out of Oakwood housing. |
