UTLA Program Timeline for Non-UT-Austin Students
Fall 2009
Within 5 days of acceptance:
UTLA program fee non-refundable deposit due ($800). Pay online, via University Extension. You can pay by check, cash or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover only). Students must select courses.

| May 15 | Balance of the Semester in Los Angeles program fee due. Pay online, via University Extension. You can pay by check, cash, or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard, or Discover only). |
| June 16 | Half of Semester in Los Angeles housing fee due. Last day to request a refund of the first half of the balance of the program fee payment with written notification of withdrawal received by the UTLA Center. |
| July 8 | Second half of Semester in Los Angeles housing fee due. Pay online via the “What I Owe” feature of UT Direct. Payment can be made with Electronic Funds Transfer, E-check (no cost), MasterCard or Discover. Balance of UTLA course fees due. Pay online, via University Extension. You can pay by check, cash or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover only). Last day to request a refund of the first-half of the housing fee, with written notification of withdrawal received by UTLA. |
| July 14 | Last day to request a refund of the second-half of the housing fee, with written notification of withdrawal received by UTLA. | August 14 | First day to check-in to the Oakwood Apartments in Los Angeles. |
| August 21 | Semester in Los Angeles Orientation. |
| August 24 | Semester in Los Angeles classes begin. |
| September 7 | Labor Day holiday (no classes). |
| September 11 | Last day an undergraduate or graduate student may add a class. Last day to drop a class for possible refund. Submit a written request to UTLA. |
| September 23 | Last day to drop a class without a possible academic penalty. |
| November 26-27 | Thanksgiving holidays (no classes). |
| November 30 | Last class day. |
| December | Exam dates TBD. |
| December 9 | Last day to check out of Oakwood housing. |
