Important Facts
Personal Identification Number (PIN): If you need to call Educational Services after you enroll, you must have your Personal Identification Number (PIN) available. Your PIN is located on your enrollment receipt.
COURSE COMPLETION: Students have up to nine months to complete a course and take the final exam. For a fee, students may request a three-month extension prior to the expiration of the original nine-month enrollment period. Students should ensure that their timeline for completing a course will meet graduation deadlines.
DROPPING A COURSE: Students may transfer or drop a course for a fee within the first 30 days of enrollment.
EXAMINATION AND GRADES: All courses require proctored exams which may be taken at the UT K-16 Education Center or other approved site. Exams taken at the UT K-16 Education Center are subject to a proctoring fee. Students who fail a course are eligible for re-examination for a nonrefundable Re-exam Fee - re-exams taken at the UT K-16 Education Center are subject to a proctoring fee. Re-examination must occur before the course enrollment period expires.
GRADE CALCULATION: Assignments are graded on a numerical basis. The final course exam counts 50 percent of the final grade. A "70" is the lowest possible passing grade for the course. Students must pass the final exam to pass the course.
GRADE REPORTS: The school counselor receives a monthly computer-generated progress report on each student enrolled. Final grades are automatically sent to the student and the school as soon as the instructor assigns a course grade.
