International, educational travel opportunities are available through the Thompson Conference Center. Our travel study trips focus on the history, architecture, and natural science of cultures around the world. Students can choose from broad-based multicultural study opportunities in 18 countries through TCC’s partnership with one of America's leading tour companies specializing in educational tours and travel. TraveLearn provides international study tours for adults between the ages of 30 and 80. TraveLearn is promoted through more than 300 universities, colleges, and associations nationwide. "From D-Day to the Rhine" is a two-week, on-site study of major World War II battlefields in Western Europe, with special emphasis on Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. The study tour is led by Dr. Thomas Hatfield. Dr. Hatfield is a military historian specializing in the Second World War. Widely sought as a lecturer and writer, he has led many adult and undergraduate study groups across WWII battlefields in Normandy, the Ardennes, Italy, North Africa, and the Central Pacific.
