Continuing & Extended Education's Third Age University serves the needs of individuals who have transitioned beyond the traditional career or professional phase of life as well as anyone who wishes to focus on personal enrichment in a structured setting.

UT Third Age University offers the following three daytime annual membership-based programs for adults, in addition to two seven-week evening Humanities Series and the UT Elderhostel one-week residential program.

  1. UT LAMP. LAMP (Learning Activities for Mature People) is for persons 55 and older and their spouses of any age. Members meet three times per week for lectures on foreign policy, travel, health, politics, and other areas of interest.

  2. UT SAGE. SAGE (Seminars for Adult Growth and Enrichment) has no membership age restrictions and meets one day per week for concentrated seminars on topics ranging from art and music to history, science, and current events.

  3. UT QUEST. QUEST, also with no age restrictions, presents Opportunities for Learning through a combination of lectures and seminars. Members meet bi-weekly.
