TXMSHP offers a variety of training opportunities.

Fee Increase -- Effective October 1, 2006
The fee for grant subsidized training, including Annual Refresher, New Miner, First Aid/CPR/AED, and Supervisory Training, will be increased from $30 per hour to $50 per hour for Monday through Friday training. Training requests for Saturdays will be accommodated at $75 per hour when available. Part 48 Instructor Certification Training will increase to $600 per student. Our minimum and maximum students per class will not change. We have maintained the same price for the past several years and since there has been a tremendous increase in training over the past years, this pricing change will ensure that the program funds will be enough to accommodate the training needs of the Texas’ mining community.
