Any mining or contractor organization is eligible to receive training from us. There are a variety of ways to get your training needs accomplished. If your request is not listed anywhere please feel free to contact us to see what we can do for you.

Onsite Training
We will provide training at the location of the organization's choice when the organization:
• has at least seven participants
• schedules at least eight hours of training
• provides the training facility, and
• pays a $30.00 per training hour fee

Meeting these requirements gives the operator/contractor the right to select the site, dates, times and subjects.

Special Course Offerings
These are subjects provided by experts in the industry. If MSHA places special emphasis on an area, we will look for people with knowledge and background in that area to assist operators and contractors stay in compliance.

Complying with MSHA Standard 56/57.5002: "How to Sample for Dust and Other Hazards."

Sponsored Training
Sometimes an operator/contractor wants training at their location but does not have the minimum number of participants. They can sponsor the training and invite their contractors and/or other operators in the area to participate. This allows an operator to not have to have all seven participants and still have on-site training.
