Welcome to The University of Texas at Austin Child Development Center, where we provide renowned child care services to university students, faculty, and staff. We offer a developmental early childhood program for children six weeks to five years of age, which creates a nurturing, age-appropriate learning environment. We hook ′em young to a lifetime of educational success.

The University of Texas Child Development Center is accredited by NAC, the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs.

Edna Hayes 1961-2012

The UT Child Development Center is mourning the loss of one of our beloved teachers, Edna Hayes.

Excellent Teacher

Congratulations to Brenda Delancy-Young, teacher of the Leaping Frogs class, for receiving a 2010 Staff Excellence Award. This award is given to UT employees whose outstanding dedication, competence, conscientious performance, excellent customer service, or ingenuity has had a significant impact on the university. Brenda certainly personifies all of these criteria.
