Space is limited in our program, so there is often a waiting list. Wait times vary depending on your child’s age and the time of year, so complete the application process to secure a spot on the waiting list as soon as possible.
Who’s Eligible
As current UT students, faculty, and staff, you have the unique opportunity to use the services of the Child Development Center. To be eligible, employees must be appointed to a position for 30 hours or more with benefits, and students must be enrolled full time. For graduate students full time is 6 credit hours per semester and for undergraduate students it is 12 credit hours per semester.
Age Requirements
To be eligible to enroll, your children must be 6 weeks to 5 years of age. However, we welcome you to apply for the waiting list as soon as your doctor announces your due date, or you begin the adoption process.
