Here are answers to your frequently asked questions.
How do I register?
We are accepting registrations online for our relaunch. Simply add classes to your cart and follow the registration process in our safe online registration system. If registering online is not for you, we will accept registrations in person at the Thompson Conference Center or by phone with a credit card where we will complete the online registration process for you. We recommend registering once you decide to take the class. Registration will be accepted until the day of the class but space may not be available. Classes must meet a minimum number of participants to be held. If your class does not meet its minimum we will notify you by phone and e-mail once that decision is made at least twenty-four hours prior to the start of your class.What if my class is full?
If your class is full, you should be prompted to join the waitlist for that class. Priority is given in order of who joins the waitlist first. We will notify you if a position opens up so you can register immediately.Are there discounts for "resident" status?
We offer a 10% discount for UT students, faculty and staff, retired faculty and staff, Senior Citizens (age 65 and over) Texas Exes members with a current membership card, Littlefield Society Members, and UT OLLI members. If you qualify for the resident rate, please select the discount during your purchase. If you pay for the class without selecting the discount, we will NOT be able to refund the difference back to you.Where is the Brochure?
In our re-launch effort, we are trying to minimize overhead to ensure we sustain operations of the Informal Class programs. While we will do some print advertising, we will be relying heavily on our Web page, Facebook, and online marketing efforts to promote our program. So be sure to join our mailing list and become a fan on Facebook to get all the latest news and newest class offerings!Parking
Great News! Parking for classes held at the Thompson Conference Center is included in your registration for spaces in the Thompson Conference Center, Lot 40 on the corner of Red River and Dean Keeton. There are 264 spaces available on a first come first serve basis. If the lot is full there is street parking available on Dean Keeton or you may utilize campus parking garages. Please do not park in lots designated UT Permit only as you may be ticketed. You may also be ticketed for parking on the lines or backing in to or pulling through spaces. Activity classes require a release and indemnification agreement. Download it below. Participants under 18 years of age should complete, sign, and have notarized the release and indemnification agreement. Download it below. Please take signed forms to first class.
