Judy Ashcroft Attends National Security Forum
Dr. Judy C. Ashcroft, Dean of Continuing and Innovative Education at The University of Texas at Austin, accepted a personal invitation from the Secretary of the Air Force to attend the 55th Annual National Security Forum (NSF) at the Air War College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. The purpose of the NSF is to expose influential citizens to senior U.S. and international officers and civilian equivalents in order to engage each other’s ideas and perspectives on Air Force, national and international security issues.
Leaders in business, education and government from all over the U.S. met with senior military leaders to explore current and future national security issues facing the nation. The NSF was four days of lectures, workshops and seminars featuring the open and candid exchange of ideas among guests, senior military and civilian leaders, and the War College students. Featured speakers were the Secretary of the Air Force and the Chief of the Air Force as well as academic researchers, authors, strategic thinkers and faculty of the Air War College.
Dr. Ashcroft was the guest of Dr. Suzanne Logan, Deputy Commandant and Chief Academic Officer of the Air War College and Air University.
