The mission of the Migrant Student Graduation Enhancement Program is to help Texas migrant students graduate from high school by providing opportunities to earn credit at any time and any place. The program offers 46 distance learning courses that are aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills and help migrant students prepare for the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills.

Since the program originated in 1987, it has enrolled approximately 21,000 migrant students. The program provides tools, services, and courses to help migrant students achieve and maintain scholastic levels equivalent to those of their classmates who remain in school throughout the year.

The K-16 Education Center is part of the Division of Continuing Education at the University of Texas at Austin.
