They’re linked together here because managers typically need to develop both management and leadership skills. Most people are slightly confused when trying to define the manager’s role. Perhaps this is because so many enter management positions with little or no formal training.     When it comes to problem-solving for business, what got us here won’t get us there. We need to understand what does and does not go into effective thinking, problem solving, and dynamic decision making. Decision-Making and Problem-Solving for Business is an advanced course that shows you how to gather information and how to frame problems in order to come up with effective solutions that include contingencies and alternatives. You’ll also learn about employing data and reasoning skills to make good decisions even in uncertain times.


    The Decision-Making and Problem-Solving for Business online course consists of 15.5 instructional hours, awards 15.5 PDU’s, and 1.65 CEU’s. It includes two 30-minute simulations, two of the Business Impact series modules (four and six minutes), and one 15-min. Challenge Series module. This course also includes the Business Pro library from the Books 24X7 collection. Students for a nominal fee will have the option to extend their access to the Business Pro library.
