Administrative IT Leaders Group


The mission of the Administrative IT Leaders group is to deploy core administrative processes that are (1) transparent (when possible) (2) efficient and (3) effective for all stakeholders of those systems.

The following statements reflect the interests of the group and what the group finds important in fulfillment of this mission:

  • Providing reliable, stable, functional, quality software systems.

  • Adherence to all applicable laws and policies.

  • Advocating changes to policies and procedures to support mission-serving activities.

  • Providing information that is accessible but secure.

  • Integrating software systems and processes and seeking to reduce redundancy where possible.

  • Promoting best practices in administrative software systems across the university.

  • Serving as an advisory group for major administrative IT changes and initiatives on campus.

  • Supporting each other in all aspects of IT leadership — community, culture, management, supervision, education of ourselves and others etc.
