The Longhorn Innovation Fund for Technology (LIFT) is a fund of approximately $500,000 that is awarded by the Research & Educational Technology Committee (R&E) to innovative academic technology projects that leverage information technology in order to improve quality of instruction, create a differentiator for attracting higher caliber students to the University, or result in a competitive advantage to the University in attracting sponsored research.
The 2016-2017 Solicitation is expected to be open from late January until April. The public launch, which includes a past winner poster session and solicitation Q&A, will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the POB Atrium and in POB 2.402 on Friday, March 4, 2016.
