Longhorn Innovation Fund for Technology - 2010-2011 LIFT Recipients have filed their final project reports. The projects sparked lots of innovation on campus.

Resources for Researchers - the first training for the information technology and data management planning resources took place on October 19, 2011.

Data Storage - The Research and Education Committee is considering the final and best pricing of select data storage venders and is ready to deploy the new storage system upon approval.

LIFT - The committee voted to fund five projects for the 2011-2011 year. Details on the projects are available on the LIFT Website.

The committee received 28 LIFT proposals. These are currently being scored and a meeting is scheduled for late-July to decide which proposals to fund.

R&E approves the proposal to reduce the number of Adobe Connect licenses to 500 and have costs allocated across the top 10 users.

Learning Management System Review - The team is working on forming a steering committee to guide the project.

Student Email - Students can submit suggestions for names for the new email service to Ideas of Texas. The project team is fully engaged in gearing up for the launch, in addition to working out an implementation timeline and tackling a host of technical issues.
