Identity Management - AIC endorsed the Identity Management roadmap model and the creation of an official committee for permanent committee to govern identity management at the University of Texas at Austin.

Data Access Policies - Members of the BSC are developing protocol for requesting and granting access to institutional data.

Priorities and Budget Approved - SITAB approved IT priorities including building out the core network and developing a plan for increased network speeds, more certainty on the set of supported core instructional technology tools, creating new administrative systems replacement roadmaps, driving campus-wide cost savings through software licensing, and updating the web infrastructure.

Office 365 - AIC unanimously endorsed the charter for the Office 365 task force.

Mobile Strategy - The Research and Education committee unanimously endorsed the core mobile strategy for The University of Texas at Austin.

Disaster Recovery - OIT unanimously endorsed a new plan for recovery of the mainframe in the event of a disaster.

Inventory Policy Endorsement - AIC endorsed new inventory policies that will allow for better tracking and encryption of electronic devices.

Qualtrics - OIT endorsed the retirement of Survey Station and the implementation of the new survey service Qualtrics for Campus. Qualtrics is able to be used for human subject research and the collection of sensitive data.

EdX - The Research and Educational Technology committee is exploring the EdX tool potentials and possibilities for the UT campus.
