Critiques

Our career advisors are happy to help you evaluate and improve your resume, cv, cover letter, and other application materials.

Mock Interviews

Strengthen your interviewing skills with the help of a videotaped mock interview. Interviews are scheduled and conducted in the same manner as a professional interview. After your interview, your advisor will review the tape with you and provide feedback on your performance. Whether you are preparing for an interview for your dream job, or just want to improve your interviewing skills, this service will help you make a great first impression.

Workshops and Programs

We offer workshops and programs designed with the unique concerns of fine arts majors in mind. Arts professionals facilitate many of our programs. Recent topics include career essentials for visual artists, writing resumes and cvs for musicians, museum careers, and head shots and auditions. View our events calendar on Fine Arts Works (registration information above).

The Career Library located in our office (DFA 1.103) contains an ever -expanding collection of books and materials about art and non-art career paths. In addition, you'll find listings of summer programs, fellowships. festivals, and calls-for-entry.
