Welcome to Fine Arts Career Services

Students with career–related questions, including questions about résumés, cover letters, and the job search process are encouraged to make an appointment by calling 232–7333 or sending a request to facs@austin.utexas.edu. If your appointment pertains to résumés, cover letters, or the job search, please complete the appropriate online module below prior to your appointment and bring the indicated materials.

For résumé consultations:
View Résumé Presentation (pdf – download adobe reader) and complete the Résumé Questionnaire. Bring the résumé questionnaire and a draft of your résumé to your appointment.

For cover letter consultations:
View Cover Letter Presentation (pdf – download adobe reader) and complete the Cover Letter Questionnaire. Bring your cover letter questionnaire and a draft of your cover letter to your appointment.

For Job Search:
Review the Job Search 101 and prepare a written job search plan. Bring your written plan with you to your appointment.

FACS will be open Monday–Friday 10–noon & 1–4.

Exceptions do occur, please call 232–7333 to check availability or schedule an appointment.

FACS offices are undergoing renovation. FACS is currently located in the Fine Arts Dean's Office, DFA 2.4. Appointments are encouraged, walk–ins are welcome.
