Ask Libby

When should I meet with an academic advisor about graduation?

In the semester before you plan to graduate, you should schedule a degree check appointment with an academic advisor in the Student Division to make certain that the courses you take in your final semester will indeed fulfill the remainder of your degree requirements. Of course, regular semester-by-semester meetings with your department academic advisor will ensure your satisfactory progress toward the degree but are not considered official degree checks. Contact the Student Division at 471-4271, to schedule a degree check appointment or come by the Gebauer Building, room 2.200 if you have further questions.
